Srinagar: Minister for Health and Medical Education, Mr. Bali Bhagat today informed the House that all the machinery and equipment except one anesthesia machine installed in the operation theater at SDH Surankote is functional.
Replying to a calling attention notice moved by Ch. Mohammad Akram regarding the defunct machinery of operation theatre, the Minister said one of the sensors of the anesthesia machine was misplaced during its shifting from SDH Mendhar. He said the sensor (part of the machine) is being procured from the original manufacturer of the machine.
The Minister said the machine would be made functional within a week’s time.
