Srinagar: MLA, Mohammad Amin Bhat today raised the issue on the floor of the house about the water shortage in Qazigund areas.
Bhat said that, Qazigund town, and adjoining villages, including Nipora, Kakpora, Chowgam and Khar Gund are without drinking water from a week.
“This is creating acute problems for the natives in this holy month,” he said.
While requesting the speaker to direct the matter to government, he said, this matter should be solved immediately.
Deputy speaker directed the concerned minister to look into the matter. “This matter should be taken on priority and check what is the problem,” speaker directed to minister.
