Srinagar | June 23 : Minister for Rural Development and Panchyati Raj, Abdul Haq Khan while replying to a calling attention notice of Saif-ud-din Bhat, informed the House that building housing Block Development Officer (BDO) Khansahib has been occupied by security forces since October 2004 thereby, dislocating the office of the BDO Khansahib to a nearby CIC building.
The Minister further informed the House that matter regarding evacuation of Security forces stands taken up with District Magistrate Budgam and his report is awaited. For convenience of general public the office of Block Development Officer is functioning in the nearby CIC building, Minister informed the House.
