Civilian, soldier injured in Nowshera near LoC

An army soldier and a civilian were injured in two separate incidents of firing on Line of Control in Nowshera area of Rajouri district.

Police said one Sushil K Sharma son of Sat Paul of Sayah village of Jhanger was grazing his cattle in fields near LoC when Pakistani troops fired bullets which hit him.

“The injured was shifted to local army hospital where from he was again shifted to another hospital as his condition was stated to be serious. The bullet had hit him on his arm,” police informed.

Meanwhile, sources said that an army soldier posted along Line of Control in Baba Khori area of Nowshera was injured in Pakistani firing.

“Bullets fired from opposite side hit him and “he is presently under treatment and is stable,” sources disclosed.
