Srinagar : On the directions of Minister for Health & Medical Education, one day Training Program on E-Aushaddi – Drugs & Vaccine Distribution Management System (D&VDMS) and Implementation of Free Drug Policy, was organized by J&K Medical Supplies Corporation Ltd (JKMSCL) at Regional Institute of Health & Family Welfare Dhobiwan Tangmarg today.
Programme was attended by Principal, Government Dental College, Srinagar, senior officers of Directorate of Health Services, Kashmir, Medical Superintendents of Associated Hospitals of Government Medical College, Srinagar, Chief Medical Officers/Medical Superintendents & BMOs of Kashmir Division.
Earlier said training programme was organized in Gandhi Nagar, Jammu the other day, which was attended by Dr. B.S. Pathnia, Director Health Services, Jammu, Chief Medical Officers/Medical Superintendents & BMOs of Jammu Division.
Detailed deliberations were made by Dr.Yashpal Sharma, Managing Director, JKMSCL on e-aushadhi application (DVDMS) besides Standard Procurement Procedure being adopted by JKMSCL for carrying out Procurement, Warehousing, Quality Testing and Distribution of drugs, surgical suture, equipments, instrument etc.
Meeting was informed that JKMSCL has mandate to issue the supply orders / to procure medicines on the consolidated requisition(s) made by the respective Head of Departments only. All the Participants were asked to submit requisition(s) well in time to their respective HOD. The requisitions received shall be consolidated at the level of respective HODs, before further submission to JKMSCL, as per the availability of funds for the purpose and to ensure quality of drugs.
