Mamata, Sharad Yadav to attend RJD rally on August 27, says Lalu

The Rashtriya Janata Dal chief said senior Congress leaders Ghulam Nabi Azad and CP Joshi will also attend the rally with a message from All India Congress Committee president Sonia Gandhi.
West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee and rebel JD(U) leader Sharad Yadav will attend the RJD rally in Patna on August 27 and Mayawati’s absence from the event is not a “setback”, party chief Lalu Prasad said on Wednesday.
“I had a talk with Mayawati. She said senior BSP leader Satish Mishra will come for the rally,” he told reporters.
The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief said senior Congress leaders Ghulam Nabi Azad and CP Joshi will also attend the rally with a message from All India Congress Committee (AICC) president Sonia Gandhi.
Asked about the chances of Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi attending the event, Prasad said, “He could also be there.”
He also claimed that Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo Mamata Banerjee and rebel JD(U) leader Sharad Yadav will be on the dais that day.
