A policeman was injured after his service rifle went off accidentally at police training school Manigam in Ganderbal district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday.
Officials said that a bullet hit left foot of head constable Farooq Ahmad, belt no 10/PTS, posted at Police training school Manigam when he was cleaning his service rifle and it went off accidentally.
Ahmad was rushed to sub District hospital Kangan where from he was referred to SKIMS Soura for specialized treatment.
