Madrid: Real Madrid says it has extended the contract of Francisco “Isco” Alarcon until the end of the 2022 season, keeping the talented attacking midfielder tied to the club for another four seasons.
Isco’s current contract was valid until June 2018.
The 25-year-old playmaker has been a key player for Madrid over the last couple of seasons. He also became a regular starter with Spain’s national team.

Marcelo believes the former Tottenham star’s injury concerns are behind him, but suggested his morale has been affected.
“Of course we’re worried,” he told a news conference when asked about Bale. “The important thing is to know if he’s happy or not. The person who is happy off the pitch is also happy on it.
“He got two assists. He doesn’t look bad physically, but I’m a player, not a coach.”
