Srinagar, August 20: Handwara Police commenced T-20 cricket tourney in Handwara district.
In order to promote the sports culture and to provide opportunity to the youth of Handwara to hone their talent, Handwara Police organized Handwara Police Premier League T-20 tournament at District Police Lines Handwara. The initiative is aimed to give the youth of the area opportunities to exhibit their talent in sports and give shape to their future through nation-building activities. The tournament was today inaugurated by SSP Handwara Shri Ghulam Jeelani Wani.
SDPO Handwara Shri Shabir Ahmad, DySP DAR Shri Farooq Ahmad, DySP (Ops.) Kralgund Shri Tariq Ahmad and other officers and officials were present at the inaugural function.
