Sunday Market Blast Case Solved, Three Militant Associates Arrested: IGP Kashmir V K Birdi
Says All Three Are Residents Of Srinagar, Booked Under UAPA
Srinagar, November 8(GNS): Inspector General of Police Kashmir Vidhi Kumar Birdi said that Sunday Market Grenade Blast case has been solved and three militants associates have been arrested in this regard.
During the press conference, the IGP said that last Sunday around 2:15 p.m terrorists hurled a grenade attack in the Srinagar Sunday market, in which 12 people were injured in which two were critically injured.
In this case, Srinagar police collected evidence and arrested three people in this connection who are residents of Srinagar and were guided from Pakistan handlers to disturb the peace in Srinagar.
They have been identified as Usma Yaseen Sheikh, Umar Fayaz Sheikh and Afnan Manzoor Sheikh all are resident of Ihkrajpura Srinagar. They hurled grenade with the intention to disrupt the peace and business in the Srinagar.
All three have been booked UAPA and the case has been registered in Kothibagh police station, the IGP said.(GNS)
