Srinagar : Minister for Health and Medical Education, Mr. Bali Bhagat today informed the House that 2 X-Ray plants of 300 MA are functional in district hospital Budgam. He said however, the USG machine is non functional for which funds have been placed at the disposal of J&K Medical Supplies Corporation during the last financial year for purchase of new USG machine. He said that the order for the procurement of USG machine has been issued and the same will be provided within one month to the District Hospital Budgam.
The Minister was replying to calling attention notice raised by Aga Syed Rahullah Mehdi regarding the non-availability of diagnostic equipments like USG and X-Ray machines in district hospital Budgam.
