GANDERBAL, SEPTEMBER 08: District Development Commissioner Ganderbal, Dr Piyush Singla today convened a meeting here to review the progress in the implementation of Chief Minister’s directions for Ganderbal district made for current fiscal.
The DDC emphasized upon the officers to work diligently for the early completion of all development works. He sought a detailed action taken report on various decisions being taken during the recently held Board meeting and implementation of a flagship programme ‘Aapki Sarkar Aapke Dwar’.
He asserted upon all the district and sectoral heads to visit Tehsils regularly to listen to public grievances. He said that ADDC Ganderbal shall be the nodal officer for the conduct of public grievance camps, under the banner ‘Aapki Sarkar Aapke Dwar to be conducted at all Tehsils of the district starting from coming Monday.
The meeting was informed that under District plan 2017-18, more than 64% funds have been utilized up to August 2017. While reviewing R&B sector, the DDC asked the concerned to ensure proper utilization of allocated funds and ensure completion of the ongoing projects well in time. He stressed on proper monitoring of the projects to ensure quality works and strict adherence to the timelines.
The DC while reviewing the convergence plan for the year 2017-2018 stressed for more integration of programmes of key departments for better results. He directed the officers for accelerating the pace of work and emphasized on coordination among the line departments to avoid any delay in the execution of works.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, Chief Planning Officer, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Assistant Commissioner Development, Executive Engineers of PHE, R&B, Irrigation and Flood Control and PMGSY, besides district and sectoral officers.
