Two youth allegedly involved in an attack on SSB party near Banihal tunnel were arrested by police and army in a joint night raid along with snatched weapons, an official said today.
A Head Constable of SSB was killed and an ASI injured in the attack on Wednesday night.
The official said that Gazanfar Iqbal Khan and Arif Wani were arrested in a joint operation by army and police while the hunt is on for the third accused, Aquib Waheed.
“Two service rifles, including an AK assault rifle and an Insas rifle, which were snatched during the attack, were also recovered from their possession,” he said.
