Kulgam: A gunfight raged between militants and Government Forces in Khudwani Kulgam in South Kashmir late night is in progress.
Reports said that Government Forces launched a cordon and search operation after getting inputs about the presence of militants at Wani Mohalla Khudwani
An official said that 2 to 3 militants are present in the village.
Reports said that 2 army and a CRPF trooper have suffered injuries and have been evacuated to 92 Base Army Hospital in Srinagar.
Reports said that mobile internet services have been snapped in parts of Kulgam and Anantnag areas.
A police official said that area has been completely sealed to prevent people from moving towards the encounter site. Intermittent firing is going on between militants and Government Forces.
