Weather system: Development of low pressure area over northwest Bay of Bangal and likely its west-northwestward movement and another low pressure area over north Madhya Pradesh & neighborhood.
Under the influence of this system, fairly widespread rainfall with heavy at isolated places over Jammu division, moderate rainfall in Kashmir Division and light rainfall in ladakh Division Weather systems & associated during 22nd & 23rd July, 2018 most likely to occur during 22nd and 23rd July 2018.
Since from past few days a false rumour and panic has been created by the section of print and electronic media among the people that forecast of heavy to very rainfall has been given by the Meteorological Dept.
As of now, no such Kind of forecast was issued by the dept. since monsoon is active over North India light to moderate rains over fairly widespread places can’t be ruled out during 22nd and 23 rd July.
