Srinagar, July 23: Government forces on Monday evening launched a cordon and search operation in Chogal area of Handwara in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Reports reaching GNS said that a joint team of army, SOG and CRPF laid a siege at Chogal village along Kupwara-Srinagar Highway.
A police officer confirmed that the cordon has been launched and further details are awaited.(GNS)
