Army shoots dead civilian at Ganawpora in Shopian, another critical

Shopian: A civilian was killed by army during clashes in Ganawpora village in Shopian.

The slain was identified as Bilal Ahmad, a resident of Kralcheck village in neighbouring Pulwama district.

Reports said that Bilal was brought dead to Shopian district hospital. He was injured during clashes with army and other government forces in Ganawpora, where militants offered gun salute to slain militants.

Local sources said that the army opened fire of the funeral procession after the militants offered gun salute
