Srinagar, August 17: Goverment forces Friday launched a cordon and search operation in Hajin area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
Reports reaching GNS said that a joint team of Army’s 13 Red SOG and CRPF laid a cordon at Mir Mohalla in Hajin today morning.
Confirming the incident a police official said that soon after the cordon was laid in the area, some gunshots were heard.
While reports last came in the searches were going.(GNS)
