Srinagar 1stSeptember: (T&U) one person namely ROOP JAN s/o Gh.Md.sheikh R/o Batmaloo was strangulated by one Imran Atta s/o Nisar Atta r/o Saidkadal, sgr. Causing his instant death .The deceased was running a painter’s shop at saidakdal .He is survived by his wife and two kids .
Today his nephew Ubaid s/o shabir r/o saidakadal had a tiff with one IMRAN ATTA s/o Nisar Atta which resulted into a scuffle .
The deacesed being related to Ubaid intervened and tried to pacify both the young boys .But somehow Imran got infuriated and pounced upon Roop Jan and strangulated him .
During field verifications it was reported that Murderer Imran Atta is the son of influential PDP activist Nisar Ahmad Atta who is said to be a well connected person in the area .On the one hand he is a political activist running in millions and on the other hand he is known property dealer connected with the Jeel e Dal transanctions.
The locality of saidakadal is in shock and anguish and apprehensions that the murdere may go scot free due to his father’s connections ,The murderer has gone into hiding and the police has taken up the investigation
