In its continuous drive to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, District Police Samba under the directions of Dr. Koshal Sharma JKPS, SSP Samba arrested one drug peddler under the jurisdiction of PS Samba and recovered 100 Nos. of intoxicant capsules.
A Police Party of P/S Samba headed by Inspr. Chanchal Singh, SHO Samba and under the direct supervision of Sh. Deepak Digra, Dy.SP Hqrs Samba, during surprise Naka at Budwani Talab Samba, intercepted one person on suspicious grounds. During frisking, 100 Nos. of Capsules (Parvon Spas Plus) were recovered from his possession. The accused person was identified as Preet Kumar Age 20 years S/o Banarsi Dass R/o Budwani, Samba. The accused was arrested on the spot and the contraband items were also seized. In this regard, a case FIR No. 262/2018 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act stands registered at P/S Samba and further investigation is going on.
