Police on Monday night came out with an statement regarding Newa CRPF camp attack. The statement reads that militants late evening fired upon a security forces’ camp at Newa in District Pulwama.
The attack was repulsed by the SF. In this incident however two jawans sustained injuries. The injured jawans have been identified as GD Amit Kumar and GD Santosh Bharti of 183 BN CRPF. Both have been hospitalised for medical treatment.
Police has registered a case and investigation initiated in the instant matter.
