Shopian: The Deputy Commissioner Shopian, Dr Owais Ahmad has appealed people to avoid night journey on Mughal Road in late hours due to the continuous rain,snow for last 24 hours.
“If someone wants to travel they should first contact the district headquarter, control room established at mini-Secretariat Shopian,” he said.
He urged to take weather predictions seriously. also appealed that the people, who want to travel on Mughal Road to remain in touch with weather prediction given by the Meteorological department because of the possibilities of landslide .
