SRINAGAR: As Kashmir is reeling under unemployment crisis with more and more qualified youth finding it difficult to get a government job in Kashmir Valley while as a matter of fact the private sector here is not so vibrant and potent to provide employment opportunities to major chunk of educated youth, yet there are young men who are creating their own opportunities and trying to be self-sufficient by launching their own ventures. These youth not only create employment opportunities for others but also create a niche for themselves in competitive markets. We had a colloquy with a budding youth who left multiple jobs and launched his own Salon in Kashmir capital Srinagar.
“The Colour Lounge Luxury Salon and Makeover Studio” is the brain child of a budding entrepreneur who hails from Natipora Srinagar. This Salon is located at Hyderpora Bypass opposite Tata Motors. Here are the excerpts from our conversation with this budding entrepreneur Rameez Majid.
