Cab Service Sumerbugh Budgam To Srinagar Started, A Much Needed Demand Finally Fulfilled

Budgam: The basic communication system of connecting people and area with one another was a mere joke for the residents of the New colony Sumerbugh, Shalina, Golpora and Sumerbugh areas of district budgam.
The commuters were not provided the cab service and had to manage to use either private transport or to move on and walk killometers to find a cab to reach with other essential areas.The areas were lacking a proper medium of transport which had always let the areas to suffer and worst suffers of the game were the student folk of the area.
The much needed demand of the areas were fulfilled on 5 December 2018 when the first bus stand was established in the New Colony Sumerbugh Budgam and cabs started to run on the routes of area from New Colony Sumerbugh To Iqbal Park Srinagar and Vice versa.
Social Activist Sheikh Zakir Hussain said” The basic problem of the area was of transport from years and with the start of transport service in the area, a big issue has been resolved by the adminstration and valuable time of the students can be now channelised in fruitful activities ”
Hussain hailed the step taken by the RTO Kashmir and ARTO Budgam and also Lasjan sumo stand who provided cabs to the area.
