Being Visually Impaired Can’t Change Our Attitude And Fantasy Of Learning: Arif Nabi And Musawir Nabi, Visually Impaired Students Who Top The 10th Class In Central Kashmir’s School

Chadoora: Vision loss has a significant impact on the lives of those who experience it as well as on those who are enough close to them and the burning issue is normal people treating differently to specially abled people.
Arif Nabi and Musawir Nabi are the two teenage students who recently had successfully cleared the the 10th class Board exams with the good percentage, despite being visually impaired.
Arif Nabi scored 88% and Musawir scored 92.6% marks in the recent 10th class results and were the toppers in the nagam chadoora school.
The twins arif and musawir, the two sons of Gh Nabi Bhat- A farmer by profession are sightless since their birth and and are residing in central Kashmir’s Nagam chadoora of district budgam.
Arif and Musawir has started their study from the native school located at Nagam Chadoora with severe struggle and completed upto 9th standard.
Though the task was not easy to get into 10th and appear in board examinations but the struggle and dedication smoothened the hurdles bundled on the track.
Arif and Musawir used a unique methodology of learning by recording the lectures of the teachers and playing the same by their own and listening the lectures, but the method was not so easy as the voice clarity was not good to grasp .
“It’s a struggle with someone who has been blind from birth, like explaining colors: I can’t tell them what blue or green looks like but Our attitudes didn’t got lowered we tried every possible gadgets and smart phones to learn the new things and the life changing event of the life was the TV show hosted by Amir Khan (Sathe Mai Vijeyta) in which a blind person succeeded in life by using modern technology to get all the essential requirements in getting education, and the toughest thing was not learning new thing easily as normal people do.
we had got the education and reached this very stage by using the audio recordings and prepared our selves to get these 88% and 92% in the 10th class” said Arif and Musawir.
Arif and Musawir further added that our role model and support are our parents who always remain proactive in our success and provided us all the basic requirements and encouraged us and Having a supportive family can be huge and they are always protective for you.
When asked about establishing special schools and colleges for visually impaired persons by Government?, Arif and musawir in an inspirational answer replied that “we too are the part of the society and we too need to Grow and breathe in this society , we don’t need to be separated from the loving society which we don’t have seen but can felt by heart”
Arif and Musawir are really an inspiration for the society and Arif wants to continue his study and wants to pursue Doctors in Political or Degree in Journalism And Mass Communication.
