Nine People Injured In Car Accident At Batote

Nine people were injured after a Vehicle in which they were boarded fell deep down the George at Batote. They were rescued by CRPF BN 84.

In a statement CRPF said that at around 11:15 AM an scorpio SUV registration number JK-02 BA 3366 full of tourists coming from Jammu to Patnitop via Batot fell down into 60-70 feet deep gorge near MS 118 in the AOR of D/84.

On the directions of Comdt 84 CRPF
Ajay Malik, Assistant Commandant Officer Commanding B/84 CRPF and Pooja Malik IRLA Assistant Commandant Officer Commanding D/84 BN CRPF launched a rescue operation along with QAT/Coy Personnel immediately.

Car had fallen down very deep
and due to spark it caught fire which was extinguished by efforts made by CRPF Personnel.

After a difficult rescue operation 9 injured passengers lives were saved by the troops of 84 BN CRPF. All the injured personal have been evacuated to govt hospital Batote for further treatment.

Injured ladies made special gratitude towards the effforts made by crpf lady officer Smt. Pooja Malik, Assistant Commandant in rescuing and giving them a helping hand.

The 84 CRPF troops timely & swift rescue operation averted the loss of life & immediate medical assistance to the injured passengers.
