Police prevents a boy from joining militancy in Kashmir

Srinagar, Jan 17: (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir police with the help of family members prevented a boy from joining militancy and reunited him with his family in the central Kashmir district of Ganderbal, a police spokesman said.
He said a report was lodged in police station Ganderbal that a boy, who was not identified, has gone missing from his house.
He said enquiry into the missing revealed that the young boy had left home in a vengeful huff and was intending to join militancy.
However Police with the cooperation of his family traced the boy and with the great efforts and persuasion was able to bring back the boy and dissuaded him from joining militancy.
