1 person injured after forces fire at vehicle that jumped checkpoint in Kashmir
Srinagar, Jan 29: (UNI) One person was injured when security forces fired at a vehicle after it jumped a checkpoint despite being signalled to stop in north Kashmir district of Baramulla.
Official sources on Tuesday said that a vehicle was signalled to stop at a checkpoint established by security forces at Wassun, Pattan in Baramulla.
However, they said the vehicle didn’t stop following which security forces fired few shots at the car. “One person, identified as Mushtaq Ahmad Parray, was injured,” they added.
They said of the other three persons onboard the vehicle, one managed to escape while the other two have been detained.
