Natural Cave thrown open for Vaishno Devi pilgrims

Jammu, Jan 29: (UNI) The natural cave situated in Trikuta Hills of Reasi district was thrown open for Shri Mata Vaishno Devi pilgrims.
“As the cave is thrown open generally when there is decrease in rush and the rush of pilgrims was not high following which the cave was thrown open on Monday night,” official sources here said.
They said that the cave remained open on Tuesday also, adding, “during this period nearly 3000 pilgrims paid obeisance at the shrine from natural cave.”
“The decision on keeping the cave open for long hours was taken on Monday and will remain open depending upon the number of pilgrims visiting daily to Bhawan,” they added.
The Vaishno Devi pilgrimage in 2018 set a new record of more than 85 lakh pilgrims visited to the shrine.
