SFs arrest JeM OGW, recover arms & ammunition in Baramulla
Srinagar, Feb 4: (UNI) Security fores have arrested an alleged Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) Over Ground Worker (OGW) and recovered arms and ammunition from him in north Kashmir district of Baramulla.
Official sources said that following specific information, an alleged OGW, identified as Hazaif Ahmed Bhat, was arrested by a joint team of security forces at Daulatpura area of Kreeri in Baramulla on Sunday.
“Large quantity of arms and ammunition, including one hand grenade, was recovered from his procession,” they said.
They said police has registered a case, adding the accused person is being questioned. “More arrests are expected to happen in the coming days,” they added.
