Police arrest a thief, recovered stolen property in Srinagar
Srinagar, Feb 5: (UNI) Police arrested a thief and recovered stolen property in Karan Nagar area of the city, a police spokesman said here on Tuesday evening.
He said yesterday one Mohammad Saleem Hajam in a written complaint to police station Karan Nagar said that his mobile phone was stolen by unidentified person in SMHS hospital.
Spokesman said police registered a case and initiated proceedings and during the investigation one Mohammad Umar, a resident of Sopore was detained. During his search police recovered seven smart phones, including mobile phone of Hajam, one copy phone.
He has been arrested and further investigation has been initiated.
