Srinagar, Mar 1: (UNI) A civilian was injured when Pakistani troops again violated ceasefire and resorted to unprovoked and indiscriminate shelling and firing , targeting forward posts and civilian areas in Uri sector in north Kashmir district of Baramulla, official sources said here on Friday.
They said Pak troops fired mortars and with automatic weapons from across the Line of Control (LoC) targeting forwards posts and civilian areas in Kamalkote, Uri last night.
Indian troops also retaliated and the exchange of fire continued for some time.
A civilian was injured in the Pak shelling, they said.
This was the third time Pak troops violated ceasefire in Kamalkote area since Indian Air Force (IAF) hit militant camps in Balakot in Pakistan on February 26.
