Faith of 130 crore people of country is biggest proof (of air strikes): PM
Ghaziabad, Mar 8: (UNI) Slamming Opposition for asking proof of recent IAF airstrikes in Pakistan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said the faith of the 130 crore people of the country is his biggest proof.
Addressing a pubic meeting in Ghaziabad, Mr Modi said that by questioning the Air Strike, the opposition has insulted the army.
Responding to the charge by the opposition that he and the BJP were seeking to take credit for the air strikes, the Prime Minister said,”on the day of the air strike, Chowkidar(The Prime Minister) was awake and we never made any attempt to take credit of the strike.
In fact, the information to the world about the air strike was given by Pakistan itself through a tweet.”
Mr Modi lamented that ”proof about the air strike is being asked by our own people.”
He said the previous government had failed to action after the 26/11 Mumbai attacks in 2008.
