Srinagar, Mar 9: (UNI) One person was killed and another was injured in a road accident in the border town of Uri in north Kashmir district of Baramulla on Saturday.
Official sources said that a vehicle met with an accident in Uri on Saturday morning, resulting in injuries to two persons.
The injured were immediately taken to a hospital, where one of them was declared brought dead.
After completing all the legal and medical formalities, the body of the deceased, identified as Manzoor Ahmad, was handed over to his relatives for last rites.
