Baramulla, Mar 22: (UNI) Four nominations were on Friday filed by candidates for upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Baramulla Parliamentary constituency, which is scheduled to go on polls on April 11 in the first phase.
Six Lok Sabha seats in Jammu and Kashmir will go to polls in five phases.
Returning Officer for Baramulla Parliamentary Constituency, Dr G N Itoo on Friday said that four nominations were filled for the upcoming elections to this Lok Sabha seat at his office here.
Mr Itoo said the nominations were filed by Raja Aijaz Ali of Jammu and Kashmir People’s Conference (JKPC), Abdul Quyoom Wani of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mohammad Akbar Lone of National Conference (NC) and Syed Ameer Sohail as Independent Candidate.
