Srinagar 23/3/2019 T&U : One Day awareness program held in Convocation Complex of Kashmir University Srinagar which was organised by DISTRICT INDUSTRIES CENTRE, SRINAGAR,Department of industries and commerce Kashmir in collaboration with Department of Management studies University of Kashmir.
Awareness regarding Development of Industrial sector and co-operative societies where discussed briefly by Speakers.
Ease in getting Sanction and Disbursement of subsidies, Implementation of Centrally Sponsored Schemes as well as State sponsored Schemes for generation of employment through establishment of micro and small enterprises in rural as well as urban areas.
Providing escort service to entrepreneurs towards identification of industry and preparation of project profiles for assistance from financial institution/banks, selection and purchase of machinery etc defined to the new entrepreneurs , students and audience. A galaxy of Dignitaries graced the occasion as Guests, The Presence of Honorable Deputy Commissioner Srinagar as Cheif Guest was the most important & Motivational for audience, Director DIC make their precious presence as Guest of honour including GM DIC Srinagar,Director EDI and HOD management studies,Kashmir University.
All The Dignitaries were marked by precious words, advises and appreciations for new and existing entrepreneurs.
Speakers and Members of Guidance Cell explained the way of Obtaining clearance for starting an industry from Government departments was also conveyed to audience. awareness about the policies and programmes on industrial development by the State / Central Governments, Facilitation for creation of common infrastructure facilities / services in industrial sector etc, Registration and Development of cottage and handicrafts Industries.
Processing proposals for assistance to sick, micro and small units Supervision of implementation of Special Assistance Schemes announced by the State / Central Government for small and Micro enterprises. Recommending awards to micro and small enterprises and Artisans given by Central and State Governments.
