Urs e auliya, Urs e Hazrat Batmol sahib observed with spiritual fervor

Srinagar 30th April T&U: Observing and Remembering Annual Day of the Spiritual personalities, sufis, saints and peers is known as URS E AULIYA and it is always observed with all religious and spiritual fervor. In the light of Sufism The annual Urs e Mubarak of Hazrat Sheikh Dawood Sahib (RA) widely known as Batmol Sahab (RA) observed on Tuesday 30th of April with religious and spiritual fervor through out valley started from the Holy shrine of Batmol Sahib.
People from all over kashmir attended the spiritual meetings held in several shrines and Mosques time to time. large number of devotees thronged the shrine of Batmol Sahib and also participated in the special prayers which Continued whole Day, The devotees including women, men, children and old were seen paying obeisance and offering special prayers at the shrine.
On the Urs e Mubarak religious clerics enlighten the teachings and life of the saint Batmol Sahab (RA).
How the saint Hazrat Sheikh Dawood Sahib (RA)has devoted his entire life for Islam and humanity.
People from Srinagar especially who resides nearer to the Batmol Sahab (RA) shrine use to cook pulses especially Mong daal and eggs dry vegetables etc except meat, chicken etc on the eve of Urs e Batmol Sahab (RA) and invite each other on lunch or dinner to follow the teachings of Batmol sahab living together, eating together and to keep the tradition of sharing alive.
