Jammu, May 9: More than 1,500 vehicles on Thursday got stranded on Jammu-Srinagar national highway after it got closed due to fresh landslide near Digdol in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir.
“Landslide hit this morning near Digdol in Ramban district following which the highway was closed,” police sources here said.
They said that over 1500 vehicles including commercial and private, got stuck up on the highway, adding, “men are on job to remove the boulders but it will take time and the traffic may be restored by tomorrow.”
