Srinagar, Jun 19: A motorcyclist and his pillion mate were killed when a truck hit them in central Kashmir district of Ganderbal, official sources said here on Wednesday morning.
They said a motorcycle was hit by a truck in Lar area on Srinagar-Leh national highway on Tuesday evening resulting in on the spot death of Uazair Ahmad Lone and injuries to Usaid Yousuf Bhat.
The injured was immediately rushed to S K Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) where he died on Wednesday morning.
Police has already arrested driver and seized the truck, they said.
