Srinagar, Jun 22: An unidentified body was fished out from river Jehlum in south Kashmir district of Pulwama on Saturday, official sources said.
They said panic gripped in Lalhar Kakpora area in Pulwama when a body was found in river Jehlum this morning.
The body was fished out and later police was informed, they said adding the body was taken to Pampore hospital.
The cause of his death of the deceased, believed to be a non state subject, was being ascertained.
Police has registered a case and initiated proceedings, they said.
