Omar condoled death in Kishtwar road accident

Srinagar, Jul 1: Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief minister Omar Abdullah on Monday expressed condolence to the families of deceased persons killed in Kishtwar road accident this morning.
In a tweet Omar said “ Terrible news coming in about the high death toll in a bus accident in Kishtwar. Condolences to the families of the deceased & prayers for the swift recovery of the injured”.
About 30 persons were reportedly killed when a bus plunged into a deep gorge in Kishtwar today. Several passengers were also injured.

Omar further tweeted “ Successive administrations are all guilty of the same thing – accident; high death toll; condolence statement; announcement of ex-gratia relief & we repeat the cycle the next time an accident happens. The next Government in J&K HAS TO break this cycle & end this indifference”.
