Baramulla, Jul 9: Body of an unidentified minor boy was fished out from a river in border town of Gurez in north Kashmir district of Bandipora on Tuesday, official sources said.
They said panic gripped in village Achoora in Gurez when a body was found in river Kishanganga.
Police was informed and the body was fished out from the river, they said adding the body was taken away by police for identification.
They said some villagers believed that the deceased was a resident of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK).
