Srinagar, Jul 9: Reacting to political developments in Karnataka, former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Tuesday said such tactics are a brazen violation of democracy and will weaken the dynamics of multiple political parties system in the country.
Who would have thought elected lawmakers could be purchased, president of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Mehbooba said.
Taking to micro-blogging site twitter she said “ Incredibly prescient. Who’d have thought elected lawmakers could be purchased. Such tactics are a brazen violation of democracy & weakens the dynamics of multiple political parties system”.
