Srinagar, Jul 12: Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) has organized a week-long Urdu refresher course for police personnel in Bandipora to acquaint them of the official language of the state.
A police spokesman said that in order to acquaint police officials with Urdu language , police organised one week Urdu refresher course at District Police Lines (DPL) Bandipora.
He said the main focus of the training module was to improve the working knowledge of Urdu language ,so that officials could improve the quality of investigation.
Detailed lectures were given by urdu knowing experts to the officials, he said.
Detailed instructions were given for the conduct of effective flawless investigation, besides instructions and guidelines for improving the Urdu language
They were directed to conduct the investigation of cases with zeal, dedication and bring the pendency to the minimum, he said adding this was the 4nd batch of officials who participated in this course.
