Jammu, Jul 16: A policeman on Tuesday died in a road mishap in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Police here said that Assistant Sub Inspector Niaz Ahmed of J&K Police, resident of Malwas this morning died on the spot when a car he was travelling in met with an accident.
“He was on way towards Doda when the car rolled down near Bharath Road and plunged into a gorge,” police said.
He died on the spot, police said adding that they have taken the cognisance.
