Srinagar, Jul 20: Body of a man was found under suspicious circumstances in health resort of Kokernag in south Kashmir district of Anantnag on Saturday.
Official sources said that panic gripped Kokernag when some locals saw body of a man in Shivhad area on Saturday morning. “The locals immediately informed the police,” they said, adding a team was rushed to the area and the body was taken away.
The deceased was later identified as Nizam Din Khan, a resident of Choontwad Panzgam. “Khan is a farmer by profession,” they said, adding police has registered a case and initiated investigation to ascertain the cause of the death.
