Shopian police conducted market checking in imamsahib

SHOPIAN,16 Mar: Shopain police Dysp Imamsahib along with SHO Nayeem Ahmad conducted a surprise market checking in imamsahib shopian.
The checking was aimed to ensure that good quality products are available to the consumers besides to curb black marketing and profiteering of essential commodities and to keep vigil on erring shopkeepers. Erring shopkeepers and vendors were Warned by the concerned Dysp and SHO.
Speaking on the occasion Dysp Imamsahib Touseef Ahmad said that such drives will be conducted on routine basis so that quality of commodities is ensured. We urge shopkeepers not to violate the rules besides display the rate lists at their respective shops.
Locals appreciated the act and hoped such drives would continue in future as well.
