Massive Bhung (Cannabis) cultivation destroyed by district Administration Police Shopian and Excise department
Shopian September 09: A drive against destruction of bhung (cannabis) in Jurisdiction of Police station zainapora is going on in a large scale. In continuation police zainapora district administration excise department have started destruction of cultivation of bhung at different locations of watchi today.
SDM zainapora Syed Altaf Hussain Tehsildar Zainapora Fida mohammad, Tehsildar Chitragam Najiullah Ahsani, SHO Zainapora Basharat Ali, DO Watchi Farooq Ahmad Inspector Excise and Department of Irrigation conducted a massive drive in mehlura , wandina , watchi and destroyed bhung in illegally cultivated in 200 canals of land. So far in 1028 canals falling in mehlura watchi bhung (cannabis) has been destroyed.
Administration and District Police Shopian and Excise department are committed to destroy the bhung cultivation in whole of area. The drive is going on and will continue.
