DC B’la Chairs Meeting, Took Stock of Winter Preparedness

Baramulla, October 27: Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Dr G N Itoo today chaired a meeting of concerned officers here at dak bungalow to take stock of various necessary arrangements in the wake of upcoming winter season.
Meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Baramulla Aijaz Abdullah Saraf, SEs of various line departments, SDMs, EOs, heads of various concerned departments among other functionaries.
On the occasion, a threadbare discussion on various matters including availability of ration, LPG, smooth water and power supply and other winter necessities were comprehensively held.
Speaking on the occasion, DC stressed upon the concerned officers to ensure that all the requisite arrangements are smoothly put in place so that the people may not face any inconvenience in the coming winters. He directed to work in coordination and cohesion and mobilize all the available resources in this regard. Moreover, DC emphasized to put in place a viable mechanism so that any kind of exigency, if any can be tackled smoothly.
Dr Itoo also directed the Mechanical division to keep men and machinery ready so as to tackle any emergency that may arise due to the snowfall. DC further directed to establish round the clock control rooms at different levels for registering the complaints and grievances of general public.
