Man with illicit timber two horses arrested in Tangmarg, Wildlife Employees and Police Cop injured after attacked by smugglers

Tangmarg: A joint team of Police Tangmarg along with Wildlife protection team Tangmarg seized 12 logs of forest timber and arrested one forest smuglar namely Umer Khan S/o Ghulam Mohmmad R/o Zandpal Kunzer from forest area of Rangwali Buderkoot Tangmarg area where as other smugglers attacked on the police party and fled from the spot due to which one Police personal HC Shabir Ahmad Belt No: 412/B along with forester and one Forester guard got injured. In this regard a case FIR No: 120/2020 U/S 147, 332, 379, 26 IF ACT Dated 28/10 has been registered in P/S Tangmarg.
Meanwhile SDPO Tangmarg Hilal Khaliq while Talking with reporters said This is our biggest victory against timber smugglers .
